According to Expansión (read here), Marfeel, a Barcelona, Spain-based provider of a platform that allows publishers to convert content into a touch experience for tablets and smartphones, raised €1.6m in its third round of funding.
The round was led by Nauta Capital, with participation from Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments (BDMI), Wayra, and Elaia Partners.
The company will use the funds for product development and global expansion.
Led by CEO Xavi Beumala, Marfeel has developed a platform that allows publishers of any size to automatically convert their web content into a touch experience for tablets and smartphones. The company promises that the touch experience multiplies the page views and the time spent in a site, by encouraging a natural, continuous and fluid reading, where content is king and the reader is engaged by discovering content.
The company had previously been backed by SeedRocket and the same Wayra.
