Madison Color, a San Francisco, CA-based company that is developing innovative technology and products for the home hair care market, closed a $4m Series A funding.
The round was led by True Ventures, with participation from Maveron LLC and angel investors. In conjunction with the funding, True Ventures partner Jon Callaghan joined the company’s board of directors.
Co-founded by CEO Amy Errett, Eric Hutchinson, Andrew Trader and Sabrina Riddle, Madison Color is developing healthy professional grade products and innovations related to the discovery and application experience (including web, mobile, tablet, social and content). It will deliver the products directly to the customer’s home.
