Zipit Wireless, a Greenville, S.C.-based provider of innovative communications and critical messaging services, received a cumulative amount of $1.2m award from the SC Launch program.
Founded in 2003 by CEO Frank Greer, Zipit Wireless provides cloud-based services and critical messaging services for Enterprise-level industries such as healthcare, hospitality, and manufacturing.
Backed by Windspeed Ventures, Meritus Ventures, NMT Capital, Sunbridge Partners, the company recently launched a new smartphone app for on iOS and Android-powered mobile phones and tablets, and added VoIP capabilities to the health care market-dedicated Zipit Enterprise Critical Messaging Solution (watch the presentation video here), which is available exclusively through Verizon.
