moTwin, a French enterprise mobile app developer, closed an additional $2.7M in financing.
Backers included new investor Sigma Gestion, as well as existing partners Seventure Partners and Naxicap Partners.
The company intends to use the funds for international expansion, including adding additional sales and support resources to its Palo Alto office.
Founded in 2008 by Claude Lemardeley, moTwin provides a development and runtime platform to deploy enterprise-grade mobile applications.
The technology enables customers to:
– Provide personalized user experiences with its SDK.
– Establish real-time and secure communications between mobile devices and backend systems.
– Use a communication protocol to offer connectivity to mobile services (including transactional services) regardless of the network’s state.
