FishBrain, a Swedish startup that operates a social network for sport fishing enthusiasts, raised $150k in seed funding.
According to TechCrunch, backers included Almi Invest, Rikard Steiber, Henrik Torstensson, Mattias Miksche, and Mathias Ackermand.
Led by Johan Attby, Marcus Fransson and Jens Persson, FishBrain allows users to log fishing trips and catches, share private catch positions, follow when, where and how other users fish in real-time, follow all fishing in favorite fishing waters, analyze a fishing database.
The app is available on the App Store and Google play.
The company had won the startup competition at Slush in Helsinki in November 2012.
