Sproutling, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of wearable sleep monitors for infants, raised $2.6m in funding.
Backers included First Round Capital, Forerunner Ventures, FirstMark Capital, Lemnos Labs (where the company was incubated), Accelerator Ventures, BoxGroup and Shawn Fanning.
The company will use the funds to hire engineers and develop its products.
Co-founded by Chris Bruce (CEO) and Mathew Spolin (CTO), Sproutling makes wearable baby monitor that provides parents with real time insights about their children. It is also developing additional smart devices.
