Prism Skylabs, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of solutions to visually understand and optimize offline commerce, raised $15m Series B Funding.
The round was led by Intel Capital, with participation from Presidio Ventures, Triangle Peak, Data Collective and Expa.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and and drive continued adoption.
Led by founder and CEO Steve Russell, Prism Skylabs provides a cloud service that aims to transform any video camera into a visual merchandising, auditing, and business intelligence tool that can be accessed from any device to gain insight into their business, and to build and maintain the ideal experience for their customers.
It is used by large retailers, CPGs, supermarkets, malls, and convenience stores
The service offers:
– Real-time, mobile access to enhanced images of any product, display or store
– On-demand, privacy-protected visual summaries of customer paths and product interaction
– Any-camera people counting and conversion measurement, and
– Easy-to-understand activity reports that identify outliers, patterns and trends
