Cyphort, Inc., a San Jose, California, USA-based advanced threat monitoring and mitigation platform, closed a $15.5m Series B funding.
The round was led by Trinity Ventures with participation from existing investors Foundation Capital and Matrix Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Fred Wang, General Partner of Trinity Ventures, will join Cyphort’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate expand sales, marketing and engineering efforts.
Led by CEO Manoj Leelanivas and newly appointed VP of engineering Shishir Singh, Cyphort provides an advanced threat solution that combines multi-OS threat detection, actionable threat intelligence, and distributed multi-application architecture, deliver real-time detection, context and mitigation for advanced malware attacks that bypass traditional security and first generation APT solutions.
