Lijit Networks, Inc., a Boulder, CO-based provider of search and discovery tools for online publishers, has completed a $6m financing.
The round was led by existing shareholder Foundry Group, with participation from other previous investors Boulder Ventures and Colorado Fund I, managed by High Country Venture.
This new capital, which brings the total amount the company has raised to date to $17m, will be used to support the growth of Lijit’s publisher network and accelerate its recently launched Advertising Services platform.
Incorporated in 2006, the company currently provides individual publishers, commercial web sites and content networks, with content discovery and search tools useful to obtain insight into reader intent, behavior, content, and demographics and subsequently take action to enhance engagement, lengthen time on site and increases page views.
