A new £10m investment fund in the synthetic biology space has been recently launched in the UK.
The synthetic biology fund will help companies in their early stages towards sustainability.
Backed by the Biotechnology and Biological Science Research Council (BBSRC), the new vehicle will be managed by Birmingham-based private investment specialists Midven through its association with the Rainbow Seed Fund, which provides kick-starting finance to technology start-up companies that spin out from publicly-funded research.
