Power Supply, an Arlington, VA-based startup that produces table-ready meals that professionals can access at their gym or studio, raised funding from CIT GAP Funds.
The amount of the investment was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate development of its food commerce platform and meal review analytics engine.
Led by CEO Patrick Smith, Power Supply leverages a network of chefs, accessed through an online marketplace, who provides consumers with meals and snacks tailored to their diets and tastes. Local chefs in the network can reach new customers to grow their business and expand use of their staff and facilities.
The company has over 50 distribution locations in the DC area, and plans to expand to other regions.
