STinser, a Burgos, Spain-based steel supply management company, raised €2m in funding.
The round was led by Caixa Capital Risc, via Caixa Innvierte Industria, with participation from Ade Capital Sodical (managed by Ade Gestión Sodical) and the Centre for Industrial Technology Development (Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial, CDTI).
The company intends to use the funds to expand its facilities in Miranda de Ebro (Burgos) and initiate the exporting process.
Founded in in 2009 and led by José Ángel González Arias, STinser offers complete management of steel as a raw material for industries ranging from automotives to household electrical appliances.
The company currently has 23 employees with 2013 revenues of around €10m.
