Fubles, a Milan, Italy-based social platform that connects people who organize with people who want to play team sports in their proximity, has raised €300k in angel funding.
Investors include Elserino Piol (Pino Partecipazioni), Oliver Novick, Carmine Giangiulio, Marco Magnocavallo, and Giannandrea Cherubini.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop the platform and grow its community, which currently counts over 25,000 subscribers, in Italy and abroad.
Founded in 2009 and led by CEO Mirko Trasciatti, Fubles provides everyone with the opportunity to organize or join a match in his/her area.
The platform currently allows people to practise sports in more than 1,600 centers.
