Memeoirs, a Povo (Italy)-based provider of a platform that allows users to create books out of e-mail and social network conversations, raised $300k in funding.
Pozzoni Group, an Italian printing company, made the investment, which directly qualifies the company to receive an additional up to €200k equity free matching funding from the Region of Trentino.
The company will use the funds to continue to develop its platform and expand its offering globally.
Led by Paulo Pinto, Giacomo Miceli, Fred Rocha, and Luca Canepa, Memeoirs allows users to create a book from services such as GMail and Facebook (with other social media services to follow) by choosing which messages to include, customizing the look, paperback or hardcover (pdf and epub to come). The company’s proprietary technology filters out redundant content, manages the process of printing and shipping books to customers, globally.
Memeoirs, which is a graduate of TechPeaks (Trent, Italy), is also hiring.
