Spire Technologies, a Bangalore, India-based Big Data technology company, raised US$8m in Series A funding from a strategic long-term investor.
The deal valued the company at US$23m.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its business in US, EMEA and APAC markets in addition to investing in technology, people and marketing.
Founded in 2007 by Saurabh Jain, CEO, Spire Technologies & Solutions provides Big Data analytics and contextual search technology with applications across industries and functions with current focus on Talent Management, Customer Relationship Management, Market Research and Fraud Intelligence.
