Global venture capital firm DCM closed its Seventh fund at $330m.
Fund VII will follow on the firm’s strategy by investing in early-stage startups in mobile, digital media, ecommerce, and consumer and enterprise services, across the United States, China and Japan, and providing hands-on operational guidance and a global network of business resources.
Led by David Chao, co-founder and General Partner, Jason Krikorian, General Partner, DCM now manages over $2.5 Billion across several funds.
TO date, the firm has invested in more than 200 technology companies including About.com (Acquired by the NY Times Company), BitAuto (NYSE: BITA), Dangdang (NYSE: DANG), eDreams (Acquired by TA), Fortinet (NASDAQ: FTNT), and Vipshop (NYSE: VIPS), among others.
