Mérieux Développement joined existing investors.
The company intends to use the funds to develop and prepare to commercialize the Vado™ Steerable Sheath.
Founded in 2010 by Shifamed LLC and led by Mike Dineen, President and CEO, Kalila Medical develops the VadoTM Steerable Sheath, a novel steerable sheath for electrophysiology procedures, which can be used across several endovascular applications including atrial fibrillation ablation, mitral valve repair, ASD/PFO closure, left atrial appendage closure, transseptal puncture, and LV lead placement.
