ItsOn Inc., a Redwood City, Calif.-based provider of Mobile Smart Services, received a $12.5m Series C funding.
The round was led by Tenaya Capital with participation from existing investor Andreessen Horowitz. As a result of the funding, Stewart Gollmer, Managing Director at Tenaya Capital, will join ItsOn’s board of directors.
The company, which has raised $40m in venture capital funding, intends to use the funds to accelerate the market launch for its platform and grow its mobile operator customer revenues in Europe, Asia, Middle East and South America.
Led by founder, CEO and Chairman Greg Raleigh, ItsOn provides a cloud-based service platform that enables mobile operators to simplify business processes and deploy new services.
