Buzzoola, a Moscow, Russia-based native video advertising platform, raised $2m in seed funding.
The backer was I2BF Global Ventures’ digital investment arm I2BF Digital. This represented the second tranche of a $4m seed round from the same investor.
The company intends to use the funds to develop its product as well as support its U.S. market launch with the opening of a New York office (led by Jane Roy as the president of North America and head of the New York City office).
Led by Natalia Solodukhova, CEO, Buzzoola operates a native video advertising platform that allows brands of all sizes and categories to distribute video content to be seen and shared across a specially curated brand-safe network of sites, mobile apps and social games. The platform provides the technology for instant campaign deployment.
Clients include Fortune 500 brands including Unilever Russia, Ukraine and Belarus — for their brands Axe, Dove, and Cornetto (known as Good Humor in the USA) — and Asics, media agencies and major entertainment companies.
