Radio Physics Solutions, a UK-based developer of a detector of 3D printed guns, raised £700k in funding.
The company has raised the funds via the equity crowdfunding platform SyndicateRoom.
Founded in 2009, Radio Physics Solutions has developed a security scanner that’s able to detect plastic firearms made with a 3D printer. It also designs other types of security scanner, bomb and weapons detectors. Specifically the company specializes in imaging devices that use high frequency radio waves to see through obstacles and clothing.
Radio Physics Solutions is led by Lord Douglas Dundonald, Chairman.
