World Startup Report, a social project to help understand and connect the different startup ecosystems in the world, has just published the Brazil Startup Report.
The slides enlighten the history of the ecosystem, features pioneers (UOL and Akwan) and winners (among them, Dafiti, ContAzul, Bidu, RD Station, and EasyTaxi), accelerators (Wayra, 21212, Papaya Ventures, etc.) investors (Monashees, 500 Startups, Kaszek Ventures, 500 Startups, etc.), blogs and media, meetups, and events anc conferences.
The document also gives information about the Brazilian culture and the overall business climate, including details on trends and opportunities, taxes, bureocracy, infrastructures, competition and risks, the Government programs.
