TM3 Systems, a Detroit, MI-based manufacturer of intelligent power distribution equipment for off-grid applications, completed a $1.6m funding.
The company intends to use the funds to continue technology and product development, and begin additional application exploration in the areas of disaster relief, mining and entertainment.
Founded in 2012 as a spin out of the Michigan-based high-tech incubator NextEnergy, TM3 Systems provides universally compatible intelligent power management for off-grid applications. The products are designed to meter, control and optimize power in remote locations.
The company will work with Michigan CAT’s onsite power generators while is currently involved in several projects from the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC).
