Zonoff, the Malvern, PA-based developer of the Zonoff Connected Home Software Platform, completed a $31.8m Series B funding.
The round was led by current investors Grotech Ventures and Valhalla Partners.
The company, which has now raised a total of $35.6m, intends to use the funds to add new commercial agreements, which will be announced in 2015, to expand the product presence into additional channels.
Led by CEO Mike Harris, Zonoff provides a comprehensive software platform that enables partners such as electronic device makers, service providers and retailers to deliver new products and services to the consumer mass market. The Zonoff Connected Home Platform consists of Home, Cloud, and App software and powers entry-level point solutions and comprehensive home automation, remote control, energy management, and safety monitoring.
It also powers Staples Connect, the home automation solution found in over 550 Staples retail stores.
