Metaps Inc., a Tokyo, Japan-based provider of an app monetization platform, completed a $36m Series C round of financing.
Backers included unnamed existing and new stakeholders in Japan and a Silicon Valley venture capital firm.
The company intends to use the funds to expand implementation of its artificial intelligence technology and financial services operations.
Led by CEO Katsuaki Sato, Metaps offers a platform, which supports app analytics, user acquisition and monetization. The platform allows developers to improve the efficiency and automation of app marketing by learning the patterns of users through the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
