Pony Zero, a Turin, Italy-based last mile delivery startup, raised €235k in funding.
The round was led by Club Digitale, which invested €200k, with participation from existing investor Club Italia Investimenti 2, which had previously invested €50k and now injected the remaining portion of €35k.
The company intends to use the funds to invest in R&D, software development and launching in Milan, Bologna, Padoa and Genoa in Italy, and Paris and London abroad.
Co-founded by Marco Actis, CEO, and Davide Fuggetta, CTO, Pony Zero provides a fast and clean urban delivery service (packages from 0 to 3 kg) that leverages management software (which also assesses CO2 savings), an app and cargo bicycles. The company aims to partner with al least 9 large players in the next 12 months.
The team is also comprised of Dario Montagnese, Alessandro Mohammadi, Alessandro Mina, and Paola Lombardi.
