PhishMe, a Leesburg, Virginia-based provider of phishing threat management solutions, secured $13m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Paladin Capital Group and Aldrich Capital Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Raheel Zia, a partner at Aldrich Capital, joined PhishMe’s board of directors as an observer.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to innovate with the expansion of the intellectual property and product portfolios, and grow both domestically and internationally.
Led by Rohyt Belani, CEO and Co-Founder, PhishMe provides phishing threat management solutions that turns employees into an active line of defense by enabling them to identify, report, and mitigate spear phishing, malware, and drive-by threats.
Customers include more than 450 enterprises in the defense industrial base, energy, financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing industries, as well as other Global 1000 entities.
The company currently employs over 100 people in Virginia, London and Dubai.
