Advanced Practice Strategies Inc., a Boston, MA-based e-learning and talent management platform provider for clinicians, closed $12m Series C funding.
The round was led by River Cities Capital Funds with participation from Ascension Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Rik Vandevenne, Director at River Cities Capital Funds, joined APS’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to enhance sales and marketing efforts as well as to expand the platform into other critical specialties.
Led by Russell Richmond, MD, CEO, APS provides GNOSIS, an e-learning platform that engages all clinicians through assessment measuring clinical knowledge and judgment and then deploys an individualized “Learning Path”, which delivers prioritized, five-minute content segments, targeting each clinician’s specific needs.
To date, the platform has completed over 30,000 assessments.
