Explain EverythingExplain Everything, Inc., a New York, NY and Wroclaw, Poland-based edtech startup, secured $2m in Series A funding round.

The round was led by Credo Ventures, a Prague-based venture capital firm, with participation from New York-based New Europe Ventures, Warsaw-based RTAventures, and other private investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand adoption of its its K-12 education interactive screencasting and whiteboard mobile platform in North America and international markets.

Co-founded by Bartosz Gonczarek, Piotr Sliwinski, and Reshan Richards, Explain Everything enables teachers, students, and professionals to interact in dynamic and media-rich ways through features like screen recording, animation, and annotation. Over 2 million people have used the platform to create instructional videos, present content in live settings, and support assessment, among other uses.
The company has a team of 35 people in New York and Wroclaw.
