123ContactForm, a Timisoara, Romania-based provider of web forms and surveys for companies and NGOs globally, received an over $1m minority investment.
Private equity growth and venture capital fund Catalyst Romania* made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to develop new products, increase marketing efforts, and expand its team of 42 people.
Founded in 2008 by Florin Cornianu (CEO) and Tudor Bastea (CTO), 123ContactForm provides tools for building web forms with rich functionalities, ranging from design options to payment and data management. It integrates with many third party applications, such as Google Docs, SalesForce, MailChimp and more.
Distributed as cloud-based SaaS (Software as a Service), the solutions are used by clients mainly in the English-speaking markets of USA, Canada, UK and Australia, and Spanish language markets across the globe.
In 2011, the company had raised an angel investment from Adrian Gheara, who joined as an advisor and board member.

It targets local SMEs active mainly in the TMT sectors with investments ranging between €500k and €2m.
Prior to 123ContactForm, the fund had invested in www.avocatnet.ro, Simartis Telecom, www.elefant.ro and Green Horse Games.
