Mailjet, a Paris, France-based email service provider, raised $11M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Iris Capital, with participation from returning investor Alven Capital and new investor Seventure.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its global presence in North America, Southern Europe and the Nordic states, and to develop additional webbased marketing and transactional email tools.
Founded in France in 2010 by Julien Tartarin and led by Alexis Renard, CEO, Mailjet provides an email service provider that enables customers to send transactional and marketing email to their contacts and understand them, email after email. It also provides tools and APIs that give senders the right amount of analytics to get the most value from each contact, for each campaign, and to reach each inbox.
The company, which currently has over 32,000 active customers in 150 countries, has offices in Paris, New York, Berlin, London and Sofia.
