PersistIQ, a San Mateo, CA-based outbound sales platform, secured $1.7m in seed funding.
Backers included Point Nine Capital, Salesforce, Y Combinator and a group of private angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to develop new products, increase its sales operations worldwide.
Led by Pouyan Salehi, Cofounder and CEO, PersistIQ provides outbound sales automation software which allows sales teams to create and manage personalized campaigns with multiple touch points. It aims to eliminate the common mistakes of outbound sales including leads fall, misformatted emails, crossed lines of communication, forgetting to follow up, etc.
