Leanplum Closes $11.6M Series B Funding

-

Leanplum, a San francisco, CA-based mobile marketing automation solution, closed a $11.6m Series B funding round.

Backers included new investor Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB) and returning investor Shasta Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to launch its Lifecycle Engine.

Led by Momchil Kyurkchiev, co-founder and CEO, Leanplum provides Lifecycle Engine, a campaign planning tool specifically designed for mobile that enables marketers to build hyper-personalized campaigns on a visual timeline. The engine allows to proactively plan, set-up, and manage automated campaigns across every phase of the customer lifecycle – triggered by specific actions, and responsive to individual behavior, ensuring that the right message is sent to the right person, at the right time.

The company also has a satellite office in Europe.
