Data Robotics, Inc. a Santa Clara, CA-based developer of automated data storage products, has closed a $10m Series E financing round led by Focus Ventures, with participation from existing investors Greylock Partners, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), RRE Ventures, and Sutter Hill Ventures.
The company will use the funds to accelerate research and development programs and expand global sales and marketing initiatives.
As highlighted by Data Robotics has experienced double-digit growth in every quarter of 2009 and recently announced 100 percent growth in worldwide sales over the second quarter of 2008. In addition, over 240 new resellers were added to Data Robotics’ worldwide channel.
On this point, Kevin J. McQuillan, co-founder and General Partner of Focus Ventures was reported as saying: “Unlike many companies over the past year, Data Robotics has continued to demonstrate a strong track record of revenue growth to justify a strong positive valuation.
