HealthiestYou, a Scottsdale, Arizona-based telehealth company, received $30m investment from Frontier Capital.
The company will use the new funds to:
– invest in more sales and marketing efforts,
– continue to enhance its technology platform and
– expand its executive team.
Led by CEO Jim Prendergast, HealthiestYou provides a technology-enabled health and wellness solution centered on telehealth engagement to more than 4,000 employer groups throughout the United States.
The web-based and mobile platform allows employers and health plans to reduce their healthcare expenses by redirecting member claims to lower-cost settings. The platform enables employees to manage their healthcare needs 24/7, within the framework of their employer-provided benefits.
Key features include telehealth—around-the-clock virtual access to providers from any location; cost transparency tools; geographic provider searches with reviews; insurance connectivity; and wellness engagement.
