Digital performance-based advertising company Matomy Media Group (LSE:MTMY) acquired Optimatic, a New York-based programmatic video advertising company, for a consideration of at least $25m.
The deal also included further contingent annual earn-out cash payments payable upon Optimatic’s EBITDA objectives, to be paid out of Matomy’s existing resources.
The acquisition combines with the one of Mobfox to further strengthen Matomy’s existing programmatic solutions.
Led by Chris Pfluger, CEO and Co-Founder, Optimatic brings to Matomy its proprietary video platform which enables publishers to manage their inventory programmatically and a full suite of digital video Supply Side Platform capabilities. The company will operate as an independent subsidiary within the Matomy Group and its current management team will remain in place.
