Fortscale Security, a San Mateo California- and Tel Aviv-based provider of a user behavior analytics platform for enterprise security, received a new investment of undisclosed amount.
Backers included CME Ventures and UST Global.
The company, which has raised $16m in total funding, will use the capital to increase sales and marketing efforts.
Led by Idan Tendler, CEO & Co-Founder, Fortscale delivers a user behavior analytics solution for enterprises to face threats from malicious employees and external hackers who have access to hijacked and compromised legitimate user credentials, which they use to carry out cyber-attacks and massive data breaches.
The company recently launched Fortscale 2.0, which provides visibility and user intelligence, giving security teams critical information to detect and eliminate insider threats.
