Cellwize Raises $14.5M in Series A Funding

cellwize_206x70Cellwize, a Tel Aviv, Isael-based Self-Organizing Network (SON) solutions provider, raised $14.5m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Carmel Ventures and Vintage Investment Partners. In addition, Viola Credit (formerly Plenus) granted a $10m credit facility to Cellwize.

The company intends to use the funds to boost its SON customer-centric optimization capabilities and to expand its market presence including an increase in its workforce.

Led by Ofir Zemer, CEO, Cellwize develops and delivers innovative SON solutions across vendors and wireless technologies. Its elastic-SON® transforms physical networks into organic solutions that continuously match capacity, coverage and quality with evolving usage patterns to self-adapt and prioritize services based on subscriber behavior profiles and network demand.
Founded by industry experts, Cellwize launched its commercial SON platform in 2012. It is now implemented in some mobile operators serving over 300 million subscribers.
