Everlaw Closes $8.1M Series A Funding

Everlaw Inc., a Berkeley, Calif.-based legal technology company, closed an $8.1M Series A funding round.

The round was led by venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. In conjunction with the funding, Andreessen Horowitz Partner Steven Sinofsky will be joining the Everlaw Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Led by CEO AJ Shankar, Everlaw is a legal technology company that provides international law firms, corporations, and government agencies with ediscovery software to prepare for litigation. The platform replaces antiquated tools to allow major law firms and government agencies to leave behind antiquated manual approaches and leverage tech-advanced tools to work more effectively, find evidence and construct the narrative needed to face their legal challenges.
Among the others, it features search, prediction engine, actionable analytics, document review management, team Management, document reviewer accuracy, post-review tools, and instant language translation tools.
