Anyline, a Vienna, Austria-based provider of a text recognition tool for mobile devices, raised €1.5m in funding.
The round was led by Gernot Langes-Swarovski Foundation, with participation from iSeed Ventures, Johann Hansi Hansmann, Bernhard Niesner and Lukas Püspök.
The company is using the funds to continue to develop ita platform and launch its SDK.
Co-founded by Lukas Kinigadner, CEO, Daniel Albertini, CTO, Jakob Hofer, COO, David Dengg, Developer, Anyline provides a text (Optical Character Recognition) tool for mobile devices. It scans in real-time, within the continuous camera video stream, works offline, and enabled new kinds of interactive augmented reality (AR) apps.
The new SDK allows developers to embed the OCR technology into their applications as a third-party framework and focus on their own project.
