ClassDojo, a San Francisco, CA-based edtech startup, raised $21m in Series B funding.
The round was led by General Catalyst with participation from GSV Capital, Reach Capital and SignalFire.
The company, which has raised $31.1m to date, intends to use the funds to expand operations.
Founded in 2011, ClassDojo provides an education communication app featuring a teacher classroom management platform and Class Story, a place for teachers to share schoolwide moments including assemblies, spirit weeks, holiday celebrations, science fairs, school plays etc., with parents.
The company is a graduate of Imagine K12’s first class.
