Fixd Repair, a Dallas, Texas-based home warranty solution and services provider, secured $1m in seed financing.
A large warranty provider made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to launch its new product offering this summer in Texas, initially in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and then expand to Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.
Led by Evan Myers, and Brandon Bohannan, Fixd allows consumers to manage home warranty claims and home services by leveraging on-demand scheduling, job allocation technology, and a network of independent service professionals.
Fixd provides HVAC, electrical, appliance repair, plumbing, pool and spa repair services to homeowners without enrolling in a warranty plan. Those who do enroll in a Fixd Home Warranty will receive special offers including free services.
Service professionals are background checked, licensed, and insured.
