Send the Trend, a New York City-based online destination for women’s fashion accessories, has raised $3m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Battery Ventures, with participation from other industry executives and entrepreneurs and Founder Collective.
The company, which raised an initial round of capital from angel investors in the summer of 2010, is also launching an updated site, featuring a new design and customer-driven upgrades including voting, social sharing, one screen checkout and more.
Founded in 2010 by by Christian Siriano, Mariah Chase and CEO, Send the Trend offers personalized accessories such as fashion jewelry, sunglasses, scarves and others.
